The Kuang Si Falls or Kuang Xi Falls, alternatively known as the Tat Kuang Si Waterfalls, is a three-tiered waterfall about 29 kilometers south of Luang Prabang.
It is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Laos, and a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Luang Prabang.
There is a direct flight to Luang Prabang from Vientiane.
Alternatively, you also can take a Laos- China train from Vientiane station to Luang Prabang station.'
You can buy the tickets either walk-in or online.
Distance from Vientiane town to the train station would take about 20 minutes if traffic is clear. If you choose early morning train, it is recommended to buy ticket a day earlier.
Ticket's price vary according to the class and type of train you choose.
Price started as low as 172,400 kip.
As soon as you exit the Luang Prabang station.. walk straight until you see down stairs. There is a shuttle service to the Luang Prabang town with very cheap price 35,000 kip one way.
